Newborn Baby Clothes – Not Just Yellow or Green

There used to be a point in time when new born baby clothes that were bought ahead of the birth came in only 2 colors apart from white: those colours were either green or yellow. Some outfits were either plain yellow or plain green and some were a mix of the 2 colors. The clothing was solid or striped, but never flowered.
The colours were neutral, as were the patterns or designs. You might put the same outfit on a boy or a girl, and it might look just as good. Once ultrasounds were developed and became frequent practice, newborn baby clothes were transformed from green and yellow to a rainbow of colours. They were then available in a selection of styles and designs too.
Ladies managed to find out whether or not they were having girls or boys, and pregnant mums could fill their child's closet and dressers with blue or pink clothing even before the baby was born. Family, mates, and work-mates knew what color clothing to buy for the baby shower and when they paid a visit to the hospice for the 1st time after the baby was born.
Not a lot of clothing makers produced clothing that was sex express, because they knew that most ladies liked to be prepared and have their child's clothing before she was born. They also knew that baby showers were often held months before the kid was due to arrive.
There are currently pink dresses, sleepers, outfits, socks, and bibs for girls; and blue trousers, sleepers, outfits, socks, and bibs for boys. Girls' clothing could be flowered or don the word, princess. Boys' clothing is generally adorned with dump wagons or frogs or jungle animals. Makers of baby clothing now offer a good spread of items for newborns.
